Opening Udaya Salon was something unexpected. It was always a dream to have my own salon but I could not have imagined owning my own salon 3 years into my career.
When opening Udaya Salon, I knew it had to be different. It had to do for guests what it had done for me. Build confidence, connection and encourage authenticity.

When you have your first appointment, I will sit down with you and go over a detailed consultation. This allows me to make suggestions that are practical for your hair and lifestyle, as well as, set realistic expectations for the appointment. I am always honest with my guests about their goals and expectations to make sure we are on the same page before I even touch their hair. The rest of your appointment can be spent relaxing, enjoying the soft music, essential oil blends, hot towel treatment, snacks and more. Take time to slow down and recharge.
When I am not in the salon, you'll find me with my amazing husband and 3 handsome little men. On my days off, I love dragging my family to little markets, community events or if the weather is nice, going for a walk down at the spit. Once my cup is filled with family time, you'll find me watching Friends on repeat, sipping a caramel macchiato, or picking up a new hobby that I will perfect and then never touch again.
