This is no secret. I am over the top in love with blondes and dry cuts. I could do it all day, everyday. It is what I think of in my happy place. I am so lucky that I get to wake up everyday and be in my happy place. I have always been artistic and this career path has allowed me to live a life full of creativity, passion and pure joy.
I was born in White Rock and raised in Campbell River since I was about 3. This is my home. I love that my community offers beautiful beaches and trails to explore, which keeps me connected to nature.
My amazing husband and two wonderful little boys, are the most amazing gifts in my life. My family is the reason I strive for better things. They motivate me to be the best me I can be. I have them to thank, along with the support of my parents, for where I am today.
Owning my own salon has been a dream of mine since I was 13. I remember drafting out in a sketchbook what I wanted my salon to look like at the time. Of course at 13, I thought I was a tomboy skate boarder who was going to have a skate park outside her shop. I graduated from Del Rio Academy (Keystone College) in 2017. In 2019, I decided hair wasn't my only passion and pursued makeup. That year, I graduated my makeup course from QC Makeup Academy. In 2020, I decided hair and makeup wasn't where I wanted to stop. I jumped at the opportunity to join Thriver's Society to learn more about salon business.
Confession. I’m obsessed with knowing it ALL. If I don’t know it, I will learn it. I am constantly educating myself, not only on hair, but also on makeup, skin and even business. I love to know as much as I can so I can provide my guests with the truest advice I can give. I’m that stylist you can ask a question, and if I don’t know it, I will find it for you. I also like to go above and beyond. I like to take my services to the next level, I'd love for you to come to Udaya Salon and enjoy the guest experience.
